Deschutes Boulder Fountain Kit
Named for Oregon's Deschutes National Forest — "des Chutes" means "of the falls." A tall, layered boulder with a mid-height shelf that creates a gentle two-level waterfall.
Water rises to the top of the 39" boulder, spills onto a natural shelf at 25", then falls again into the pebble bed — a gentle, layered waterfall effect that blends into any garden landscape.
Handcrafted by Blue Thumb in GFRC (glass fiber reinforced concrete) and molded from a real boulder, it has authentic texture in Dapple Gray or Chestnut Brown at about 85 lbs — hundreds of pounds lighter than solid stone.

Is it real stone?
It's GFRC molded from a real boulder and hand-finished, at a fraction of the weight of solid rock.
Do I need a pond?
No. The boulder sits over a buried basin that recirculates the water beneath pebbles.
What about winter?
In freezing climates, remove the pump and drain exposed plumbing before a hard freeze.
