Jain's 455x375 tubing is a 3/8" (10 mm) polyethylene distribution line used to carry water from a supply line out to emitters, sprayers, and other drip and micro-irrigation devices. Jain manufactures its polyethylene tubing with Union Carbide resin that carries the Fingerprint® identification feature and a minimum of 2% carbon black for UV protection.
Each run is printed with the manufacturer, model number, dimensions, resin, and date of manufacture. Fitting note: this tubing has a 0.455" outside diameter — make sure your fittings are sized for 0.455" OD tubing.
Minimum 2% carbon black resists sun damage in exposed installations.

Jain does not recommend running tubing above 5 ft/sec.
What is this tubing used for?
It's distribution tubing for drip and micro-irrigation — it carries water from a supply line out to emitters, sprayers, and other emission devices.
Will my 3/8" fittings work with it?
Check the outside diameter. This tubing is 0.375" ID x 0.455" OD. Some 3/8" tubing (including many aeration airlines) is 1/2" OD, and fittings sized for that will not fit. Call us if you're not sure.
How much flow can it carry?
Jain recommends keeping velocity under 5 ft/sec, which for this size is roughly 100 GPH. At 50 GPH, friction loss is about 4.3 psi per 100 feet.
Can it be left exposed to the sun?
Yes — Jain polyethylene tubing contains a minimum of 2% carbon black for UV protection.
What's the warranty?
