What size pond will a 20' x 35' liner fit?
A common sizing rule is pond length (or width) + 2 × maximum depth + 2 ft for edge overlap. By that rule, this liner fits a pond about 15' x 30' that is 18 in. deep.

Do I need underlayment?
It's strongly recommended. Underlayment protects the liner from rocks, roots, and other sharp objects, and can also be laid on top of the liner before adding gravel and stone.
