A rugged, Made-in-USA floating surface aerator built for three-phase commercial and agricultural power. A stainless steel Franklin Electric motor drives a high-velocity propeller that pumps, aerates, and mixes your pond, with no seals or bearings to maintain.
The Aquarian Pro's high-velocity propeller pumps a large column of water up to a computer-designed diffuser, where a shearing action breaks it into fine droplets. That maximizes the water's contact with the air for strong oxygen transfer, while the constant circular turnover helps prevent stratification in ponds up to 12 feet deep. The result is better water quality, fewer odors, and healthier fish.
This model runs on 460V three-phase service, common on farms, golf courses, municipal lagoons, and commercial properties. Three-phase units are hardwired rather than plugged in, so plan on installation by a licensed electrician. Do I need three-phase power for this model?
Yes. This unit requires 460V three-phase service. If your site has standard single-phase power, our 115V and 230V Aquarian Pro models are a better fit.
Can I plug it into an outlet?
No. Three-phase units are hardwired, so we recommend having a licensed electrician handle the installation.
Does the motor need oil?
No. The Franklin Electric motor is water-cooled and water-lubricated, so there's no oil to leak into your pond.
Which cord length should I choose?
Measure from your power source to where the aerator will float, then add some slack for the unit to move with water levels. Choose 50 ft or 100 ft. Don't splice or extend the cable, since that can void the warranty.
Can it run in winter?
Yes, with the optional Sling Rope De-Icing Kit, which draws warmer water up from below to keep an area of open water around the unit.
