QuickSink is EasyPro's weighted PVC airline for lake and pond aeration systems. Because the hose itself is weighted, it settles onto the pond bottom and stays there — no need to tie weights or bricks along the line to keep it from floating. The thick PVC wall is guaranteed not to crack or split, and it stays workable in all temperatures, so you can install it even in cold weather.
This 3/4" ID size is the largest bore in the QuickSink line, supplied on a 300-foot bulk reel for larger aeration installations. Will this airline float?
No — QuickSink is weighted PVC, so it sinks to the pond bottom and stays there without extra weights tied to the line.
Do I need weighted airline for the whole run?
Not necessarily. EasyPro notes that weighted airline is often used only in the pond, while the distance from the compressor to the water's edge is covered with less expensive non-weighted airline.
Can I install it in cold weather?
