EasyPro ETP Series Submersible Electric Trash Pump
A heavy-duty 115V submersible trash pump for pond cleanouts, drawdowns, and dewatering jobs. It moves dirty water loaded with sand, leaves, algae, and debris up to 3/8" x 1" in size. Available in 1/2 HP and 1 HP.
Standard pond and fountain pumps are built for clean, continuous circulation. Feed them a pond bottom full of silt and leaves and they clog or wear out fast. The ETP Series is the opposite: an electric trash pump designed to pass sand, solids, leaves, and algae up to 3/8" x 1" without choking. It's the pump to reach for when you're draining a pond for a cleanout, lowering water for liner or dredge work, pumping out a retention pond, or clearing mucky water off a job site.
Because it's electric and fully submersible, there's no gas engine to fuel, prime, or run next to the water. Just set it on the bottom, run your discharge hose, and plug it into a 115V outlet.
Handles sand, solids, leaves, algae, and other debris up to 3/8" x 1" in size.
Up to 3,600 GPH (1/2 HP) or 5,900 GPH (1 HP) for fast drawdowns.
Maximum head of 38 ft (1/2 HP) or 57 ft (1 HP) to push water up banks and over long runs.
Glass-fiber reinforced composite housing, cast iron bottom housing, wear-resistant TPU impeller, and precision mechanical shaft seals.
Standard 115V power with a 20 ft cord. No fuel, no priming, no engine noise.
Backed by EasyPro's two-year limited warranty.

After the cleanout, keep muck from building back up with beneficial bacteria pellets that break down organic sludge.

Shop Muck Blower →Is this a sewage pump?
No. The ETP Series is a trash and dewatering pump for dirty water with sand, leaves, algae, and debris up to 3/8" x 1". It is not designed for raw sewage or septic/ejector basins. For those, use a pump rated specifically for sewage.
Which size do I need?
The 1/2 HP ETP05N works well for smaller ponds and shorter, lower discharge runs. Choose the 1 HP ETP10N for larger ponds, faster drawdowns, or when you need to push water higher or farther. It keeps 3,420 GPH even at 30 ft of head. Check the flow chart above against how high you need to lift the water.
Can I run it for a long time?
Yes, as long as it stays submerged. EasyPro's manual limits operation to a maximum of 30 minutes when the water level is between 6" and 14", so keep an eye on it as the pond gets low and shut it off before it runs dry.
How do I install it?
Lower it to the bottom by the handle (never by the power cord), connect a 2" discharge hose, and plug it into a dedicated 115V outlet. EasyPro advises against sharing the outlet with other equipment, hanging the pump in the water, or painting the casing.
What's the warranty?
EasyPro covers the ETP Series with a two-year limited warranty against mechanical and material defects. Don't disassemble the pump during the warranty period. If the impeller needs service, contact us.
