How does this de-icer work?
It pulls warmer water from below and sends it out in a continuous agitated movement at the surface, which prevents ice from forming and melts ice that's already there.
Which mounting option should I choose?
The standard dock plate works well for wooden docks, a post bracket suits round metal posts, a truss mount is best for metal dock frames, and the tripod mount lets you install it without any dock at all.
